On the edge of the Black Forest, right by the A8 Stuttgart/Pforzheim (exit 42) and only about 20 minutes from Karlsruhe’s city centre,
we offer 74 comfortable rooms in three categories. Among them you’ll also find an apartment, a smoking room, several allergy-friendly
and barrier-free options, as well as triple and family rooms. The rooms are spread across five buildings and equipped with modern bathrooms,
comfortable beds, satellite TV and free Wi-Fi.
Our hotel is located on the edge of the northern Black Forest, in the Karlsruhe district of Stupferich – quiet, close to nature and
perfectly connected.
Right outside the door, the landscape opens up with gentle hills, fields, forests and numerous walking and cycling paths.
A public playground with a table tennis area is just a two-minute walk from the hotel.
Karlsruhe itself is known as Germany’s city of law – home to the Federal Court of Justice and the Federal Constitutional Court –
and as a fan-shaped city, whose layout even inspired the design of Washington, D.C. The city offers an impressive cultural scene
with theatres, museums, cabaret stages, festivals and a wide range of venues throughout the year.
Thanks to the nearby motorway, many well-known destinations are easy to reach: Baden-Baden and Rastatt, the university
town of Heidelberg, Wissembourg in Alsace, the Palatinate wine region or the UNESCO World Heritage Site Maulbronn
Monastery. Several golf courses are also within short driving distance.
At our reception, we are happy to provide tips, recommendations and links for excursions and leisure activities.
For travel groups, we also keep an overview of regularly scheduled annual events – helpful for planning a well-organised tour.
We also offer charging stations for electric vehicles, free parking (including space for vans) and a fitness room for your
convenience. A tour bus can also park directly in front of the entrance.
Our breakfast buffet is available from 6:00 a.m. on weekdays – ideal for early risers and business travellers.
Late-arriving guests and locals can help themselves around the clock at our 24/7 vending machines, stocked with drinks,
snacks and specialties from our butcher’s shop.

Our restaurant treats you to regional cuisine, local sourcing and genuine craftsmanship. Almost everything is homemade, and our in-house
butcher’s shop guarantees freshness and quality.
Whether it’s a cosy breakfast in our winter garden, a relaxed lunch or an elegant dinner – attentive service and carefully prepared dishes
are what you can expect from us. On warm days or cool summer evenings, our small "Bierhof" invites you to sit outside and unwind in
a laid-back atmosphere.
